It’s hard to find people these days who truly value “commitment.” If they don’t get along with their spouse, they get a divorce. If they get mad at their boss, they quit their job. If their friend disappoints, they walk away, and if someone at church hurts their feelings, they stop attending. People seem to have an attitude of “I’ll stay as long as it feels good” rather than “I’m in it for the long haul.” Praise God that He always keeps His Word and His commitments! The Bible says in Hebrews 13:5, “For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you or forsake you.’ ” You see, God doesn’t turn His back on you or quit on you whenever you disappoint Him. He is 100% committed to being there for you whenever you need Him, and you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He will meet your every need! God will be faithful even when you are not... because He has made a commitment to love you no matter what, and He always honors His commitments. Determine today to remain faithful to your commitment to God - that when Satan tempts you to throw in the towel and turn your back on your Lord and Savior that you will hold steadfast in your love and devotion to the One who loves you more than anyone else possibly could.
