Initially I was lookin close to where i live, but realised the deal flow is so small, that opened up to VIC, NSW, QLD
The key lesson: a vendor that is retiring is critical. 1) Seller finance 2) stays on as manager for a handover 3) keeps staff
Very early stages
My intention will then be to update the back-end with as much AI as possible, and keep it running
Long-term, and depending on how it goes, I like the idea of roll-ups, adjacent services, with an exit to a PE fund
But first steps is just one high quality, stable, cashflowing business
