In the livestream, Bitcoin Mechanic said that he received a message from a Foundry miner saying they weren’t getting any jobs. That could explain why it took Foundry so long to mine a block they had simply stopped mining.
My speculation is that Foundry initially started mining on the BIP110 side, but then changed course after seeing Antpool’s block.
