In October, we'll have a referendum on the referendum. Albertans will vote on whether they want a referendum to occur in the future, to become independent.
We have all federal and provincial political leaders against it, mayors of our two biggest cities against it, and the whole media apparatus against it. It seems that support for independence is at 30%.
However, some who would vote against independence have stated they will vote yes to the referendum question, to build leverage against Ottawa.
