I am a cheap fuck and I can understand the hate and pain but COLDCARD devices are still perfectly fine (if you at least somewhat know what you're doing).
This is not the first wave of wallet hacks due to weak seed generation entropy, nor is it the last.
The mistake is a critical one, but don't be in a hurry to throw out good, working machines. Its a dumb firmware fault thats perfectly patchable while Coinkite hardware is still state of the art.
Emotions will pass, trust may never be completely rebuilt, and that's good - this space was never about putting blind trust into a single vendor, brand, or name. Its a cold shower for everyone in the space, hopefully for the best.
Massive fuckups await where you least expect it. Today its this, and tomorrow it may be someone or something else. Nothing may be 100% but our hearts, effort, and willigness to learn and adjust.
