Cashu's NUT-01 has a mint publish its signing keys over GET /v1/keys. A keyset there is not one public key, it is a map: a separate compressed secp256k1 key for every denomination the mint supports, one key for 1 sat, a different key for 2, another for 4, and on through the set. Checking a single token means matching it against whichever one of those keys happens to correspond to its face value. A vending machine that changes its entire lock for every coin denomination it accepts.
