The problem is that Dunbar’s number does not YET scale above 150-300.
In those communities, no one coercively confiscated other tribe members’ property.
It was essentially an me big extended family. Doesn’t really apply to billions of people that have no social or empathetic bond.
Hence, it’s 100 percent disastrous failure rate over the past few centuries. (Not to mention the 10s of millions murdered in its attempted implementation in the 20th century alone)
