I'm not sure I understand. Just delete the text?

You can format text and then hit the preview button to see how it will look.

I want to add a better editor that shows the formatting as you type instead of having to use preview, but it does work as a standard markdown editor.

I'll add that when I have time but it's low priority for now. Maybe next week when I'm less busy.
