Philosophy, especially quotes when taken out of context are completely useless except for rage bait. Philosophy is also built mostly on argumentative behaviors, challenges beliefs, and is often deceptive in small potions (or at least interpreted that way). You may view this type of disruption as a "good thing" but most of us didn't come to be judged or irritated lol.
Post nearly anything else, and expect orders of magnitude more engagement. Honestly I get quite bothered with kind1 chatter or opinionated summarizations of philosophical works. You're better off telling me to read the book then share something entirely out of context.
Few things bother me more than seeing a someone post a one liner form Carl Jung. If you read the paragraph before and after the cherry-picked phrase, it completely destroys the interpretation you wish to present.
