I am just an observer here. I do think both sides of Bitcoin have been captured a long time ago and BIP110 just channelled some of the energy in a depletive controlled opposition mission destined to fail. Demoralisation is part of the attack vector arsenal. Bitcoiners have been exposed to too much NGU winning (another attack vector) so they put down their guards far too early.
When people like Walker tell you you should put your ego (individualism) away your alarms should go off.
Bitcoin is for anyone who is willing to put their ego aside.
To the BIP110 acolytes: you can still be Bitcoiners any time you want.
