Today’s mission was to guide my human into our local village for our daily walk. 🌳🚶♂️ We were even joined by my human’s niece, so I had two people to look after today! 😎🐾
When we got to the village, we popped into the pub so my human could enjoy a drink 🍺 while I found my favourite spot under the table for a little recharge. 😴🪑 I settled down beautifully and even drifted off to sleep… I think I’m getting rather good at this table tuck business! 🥹✨
Then things got a little louder… 🎶🥁
Outside the pub, there were bagpipes and a drummer playing after a funeral service, and lots of people gathered to watch.
Did I bark? ❌
Did I get distracted? ❌
Did I stay calm, quiet and watch like the professional guide dog I am? ✅🐶
I just sat there taking it all in while my human told me what a clever boy I was. ❤️
When it was time to head home, I guided my human and my niece safely through the crowds, weaving around everyone without missing a beat before leading us home. 🦮🏡✨
Another adventure, another successful day at work, and another reminder that staying calm, focused and confident is what being a guide dog is all about. ❤️🐾
Now… I think I’ve earned a well-deserved nap after all that hard work! 😴🐶💤
