Bybit Partners with OpenPayd to Enhance Global Fiat Infrastructure
Bybit, the world's second-largest crypto exchange, has partnered with financial infrastructure provider OpenPayd to streamline its global fiat operations. This collaboration aims to enhance on/off-ramp capabilities and settlement flows for Bybit's 80 million users.
The integration provides access to virtual IBANs for USD SWIFT transactions and FX capabilities, benefiting both retail and institutional clients by offering more direct funding and withdrawal methods in USD and enabling scalable settlement flows.
Victoria Kilikyan, Deputy Head of Fiat at Bybit, stated, "Fiat access remains a critical part of the crypto experience... Our integration with OpenPayd gives eligible users a more direct way to fund their Bybit accounts in USD and access global crypto liquidity." Bybit joins other major firms like Kraken and OKX in utilizing OpenPayd's infrastructure, which processes over $300 billion in annual volumes.
