What if your Bitcoin wallet didn’t need an app, or even a smartphone?
During BOSS Battle 2026, our hackathon for Bitcoin builders, Anipy built DialSats: a Bitcoin wallet you can call. It works from any phone that can make calls and send SMS.
Here’s the flow in the demo: → Text “Hi” to the DialSats number → DialSats calls you back → A voice guides you through setup on your keypad → Your Lightning address arrives by SMS
According to the builder, it also lets you send and receive, take in dollars, and buy bitcoin with INR peer-to-peer.
Why this matters: billions of people still rely on basic phones, patchy data, or no data plan at all. Projects like this ask a simple question: how do we make Bitcoin usable for them, using the tools they already have?
