The forces saying the USA system is The Way continue to be so strong that in some ways we have surpassed the USA.
Now it has gone so far as there are people who would break our country up to BE American!
Canadians used to be happy and optimistic like the Scandinavian countries. Not anymore, and completely because we, but our politicians especially, have tried so damn hard to be more American, less “Socialist” more “free market” which actually means doing everything corporations want.
