This post revolves around Causa y efecto by Hijos de las Hojas, a song that opens as a guided meditation and is built on the sixth principle of the Kybalion: every effect has its cause. In it, someone rhymes beneath the tree that watched a fruit fall, speaks to its roots, and holds that whatever you create inside is what you end up attracting.

My four poems go down to those roots. Humus is the fertile layer of soil, and the same Latin root gives us "human" and "humble": we are, literally, the ones who come from the earth. A soil profile is cause and effect in plain sight, because every layer exists thanks to what settled beneath it.

That is why each layer carries a Hermetic principle.

On top, My Fruit is vibration: a song that arrives as vibration and a fruit that can only be taken out of paradise with a fine touch.

The Man is correspondence: we look up at the sky for the bird or the plane, and what was there was man, down here; and he asks for someone who knows alchemy, just as the song calls itself its disciple.

If We Leave is pure cause and effect: every line is an "if this, then that", with two exits in Dante, the wood of those who jump or the eternal wind of the lovers.

And at the bedrock, My Purpose is rhythm: what goes up must come down, so don't let it go to your head when it rises. Dying on purpose, being careful where you deposit success (its Latin root, exitus, also means exit) and casting out what's left over.

The fruit on top is the effect. The purpose at the bottom is the cause.
