Hmmm... well I wish you well with try to disentangle what social improvements have been due to capitalism (now a world system) and those which are incidental or even despite capitalism - but I recognise the logic & value of that endeavour.
I was implying 'compared to other systems' during the 200 year (or more) history of capitalism - apologies if that wasn't;t clear.
On the transition; for those who are harmed or die in revolutionary transitions the distinction you make is beside the point...
