That actually sounds like a much better way to think about it. I’ve probably been focusing too much on which device to buy, when the bigger risk is making a mistake during setup or backup. Testing the recovery process with a small amount first also makes a lot of sense. I definitely don’t want the first time I test my backup to be when something has already gone wrong. 😄
