SV2 is out and it should be used more by all of us. The only thing is that they don't make it backwards compatible with older node versions.

They probably could have created stratumv2 ages ago but purposely postponed it and degraded it. Core, big money suit interests and the biggest mining pools all watching each others backs to keep control
