If you run Core 29, your node will accept up to 80-byte OP_RETURNs, so it will see bigger OP_RETURN “spam” than Knots would.
if some dodgy actor tries to flood the network with 80-byte OP_RETURNs, your Core 29 node will keep them in your mempool. That’s why policy limits matter for spam — they don’t affect consensus but affect how much junk your node has to handle.
Nodes on Core 30 (100 bytes) will tolerate slightly bigger spam. Ergo more dodgy shit...
