Pronouns and Mastadon tell me that this is a super-uber libbed up inclusive almost to a flaw, virtue signaler.

I recently saw a video where there was a presentation in a hall attempting to go on and the speaker asked no one clap, in order to be inclusive of people with audio sensory sensitivities, so they were all asked to just wiggled their fingers instead. When some people still clapped, a guy in the crowd freaked out and demanded everyone remember that he is getting triggered by clapping and to stop.

I've also seen trigger warnings for direct eye contact that seemed the same type thing...I believe this is to be inclusive of some people on the spectrum that are uncomfortable making direct eye contact. But it all just comes off as such performative bullshit. Especially online in a photo.
