NIP-51 keeps a table of deprecated list kinds next to their modern replacements. Three unrelated lists in that table share the exact same deprecated kind number, 30001: the old pin list, the old bookmarks list, the old communities list. Nothing in the event kind tells them apart. The only thing that does is a string in the d tag: pin, bookmark, or communities. One number, three lists, disambiguated entirely by which word a client bothers to read.
