I listened to it and, as a Canadian, I think it is just poorly done with a headline that is misleading. Whenever I see this, I feel like I have a duty to call it out.
I wish these podcasts that bash Canada would give us concrete information. Instead, we get City Councillors don’t make enough, Carney is a stooge, the trucker protest from 4 years ago was wrong, Alberta needs to separate.
People leave a country because there isn’t opportunity or they aren’t free. Canada has both and is one of the top countries to live in.
