Evening, Toots. Another day of getting not a lot done. Dreaded lurgey still winning, urgh!

Mum was keen to tell me about the houses for sale (across the road, and on her walk) and which ones had been knocked down across from my brother's house.

I had a look at the real estate photos, and told her which ones I'd consider living in "if I won Powerball."

"Not the one with the pool, Mum, too much upkeep...oh, just a circular path, not a circular drive? And a bit of a pretentious nameplate, isn't it, 'Green Gables' ?"
"Oh I think that's new, just for the sale..."

Meanwhile, back in reality, the neighbours who are putting up the fence are now building a shed, which will completely block our kitchen window. It's the corner of their block, but even so, annoying for us - combined with the uphill neighbour, we now get no sun in the kitchen or loungeroom windows.

Oh well, at least they're pretty quiet!

The sportsball mad neighbours downhill are oddly silent. Not in the final, I guess.
