interoperable e2ee messaging is an intensely difficult problem. signal didn't solve it. matrix couldn't either. simplex hasn't managed either.
i'm biased of course, but I believe what we're doing with Marmot is the way forward. it's already proven it's interoperable and it's now stable enough to be a daily driver.
