You weren’t wrong, you just missed the 5!
So one time, after a therapy appointment, I was pondering all the things that I have been "wrong" about in life, and I learned something very interesting. I don't think I've ever been wrong, but I have often been short sighted.
I will see 2 & 2 and say that the answer to this dilemma is 4. Which is absolutely correct, 2 + 2 = 4!!! I am right. But after years of others insisting that the answer is 9, I finally one day stumbled onto a 5 in the equation. So of course 2 + 2 = 4, but I hadn't realized that there was also a 5 hiding in the corner. And when you add that in, then, yup, the answer is 9.
Do you see what I mean?
