Who decides when Venezuela gets its elections back?
Not the Venezuelan people. Not international law.
Right now: a self-appointed interim government with no electoral mandate, no timeline, and every incentive to delay.
Maduro fell. The system that produced him didn't.
The question isn't whether Venezuela deserves democracy. It does. The question is whether the international community will demand it — or settle for stability over sovereignty.
Normalization without transition is not progress. It's a better cage.
