Samson Mow and Bitcoin Red Team researcher Calle are publicly clashing over whether security warnings related to the Liquid Network exploit were properly handled.

Calle suggested Blockstream’s failure to act on a Red Team email ultimately “cost” 600 BTC, prompting Mow to respond that “no emails were ignored.”

Calle said the Red Team will publish its complete account of the disclosure process after Blockstream restores normal Liquid operations and releases its postmortem.

Mow separately warned against blindly trusting AI-generated security reports, arguing that unverified fixes can introduce new vulnerabilities and criticizing researchers who prioritize “clout” over protecting Bitcoin.
