Ilya Lichtenstein and his wife got busted with like 4 billion dollars worth of Bitcoin. They didn’t stay disciplined and eventually connected one of their coins to their real ID. They could have just atomic swapped to XMR and stayed rich. They did a bunch of washing at no KYC street cash exchanges in Ukraine, but they got very lazy about it and overconfident, and eventually mingled the wrong UTXO.
Historically people get really fucking stupid about these things.
