I’ve had these since college. At first, I thought I must have eye strain or a brain tumor. But then I heard a headache researcher on the radio describe the auras, and how some migraine sufferers rarely get the headache, mostly just the auras.

This expert wrote a book called, “Conquering Headache,” which I read. It’s pretty old but maybe you can find it. I’ve been able reduce the frequency through his advice on diet, limiting red wine, aged cheese, smoked meats, and too much coffee.

Good luck, fellow sufferer! My brother gets the same things, so there must be a genetic link.
