There's a big difference between "I dont want to talk to those people" which we can make fun of because its silly, but its his right, and "this decentralized and permissionles network I had no hand in building shouldn't allow for these people to build what they want with it". That seems to be the undertone here. Thats not voluntary association.

Its like the tankie pantywads adopting decentralized networks and demanding that others be silenced on them. They think these networks are for them, but architecturally they're for everyone, even people they dont like, and they find that out and get big mad.
