Storytime: Last year during my visit to Hyderabad, my friend's family hosted me. His aunt's mother(his grandmother or ammamma) who speaks little English is a religious lady who loves to cook & to feed even more so. I am a fast eater so anytime she saw my plate was empty, she would add another serving with the biggest smile. The best compliment for any cook is a clean plate after a meal as the adage goes so I tried my best to express my gratitude for her hospitality by overeating at every meal. 🤭
