As fixing vulnerabilities with #BIP110 has become such a political debate, governance of bitcoin by the community seems rather weak at the moment. Activation of the latter will give us an indication of how resilient bitcoin is in terms of fixing issues in the future. Bitcoin should be hard to change and extend but nimble enough to fix problems efficiently.
