just read the taproot spec justifying the naked schnorr pubkey in the outpoint instead of a hashed pubkey.

in actual fact, p2spkh (pay to schnorr public key hash) also can replace segwit, because the signatures are not malleable, provides actual security against quantum pubkey to secret derivation, and does not enable shitcoinery.

i have also developed a lattice signature algorithm that i called "hamadryad" and a hash function called "gnarl" that are both based on a lattice that post quantum cryptographers have ignored called the Cayley Tree or Bethe Lattice (both names, same thing) the https://smesh.mleku.dev app logo is one of the versions of the euclidian representation of this lattice. it has *at least* as strong security as the ortholinear lattices used in Falcon, SWIFFT, Dilithium and others, resistant to Shor's algorithm, and the signatures are computed first with the lattice and then use Schnorr with ternary math to produce a signature that is slightly smaller than an secp256k1 signature. quantum resistant and suitable for bitcoin.
