#Tool of the Month:
NAK (Nostr Army Knife) is a lightweight command-line client for Nostr. It is particularly well-suited for Bash scripts and Unix pipelines.
For example, you can use it to create, sign, and publish Nostr events; retrieve them from relays; and manage keys and IDs. A typical example is:
nak event -c “Hello Nostr!” --sec “$NSEC” wss://relay.damus.io
In short: NAK is to Nostr roughly what curl is to HTTP—a universal CLI tool that lends itself very well to automation.
