If "keysend is dead" are you going to alienate all those 95.5% of feeds that only have keysend in them?
Granted most of those are WL feeds and I'm sure WL could update their wallet infrastructure to support lnAddress/lnurlp.

I would strongly encourage you to not deprecate keysend as it is still the only sovereign way for 2 nodes to communicate to one another in a true peer to peer fashion. (remember the white paper?)

lnurl is awesome but it relies on dns and is censorable, not to mention it is not at all battery friendly due to all the calls it needs to make.

It relies yet again on another 3rd party. The artist's boostagrams are now hosted on several severs all over the world.

With keysend they all get sent to the artist's own node or the node of their custodial wallet.

I'm not trying to be negative but our band-aids are not bringing the ecosystem together in any way that respects the original sovereign nature that was created from the beginning. keysend++

IMO I would like to see more wallets supporting keysend. Their backend nodes do it just needs to be implemented on the user side.

You did it with Fountain primal, rizful, coinos etc can do it also.

I love lnAddress for looking up keysend info. I believe this to be the way to go until we come up with a better peer to peer solution.
