I'd like to have an idea of how many percents of those #Gaza #donationsneeded requests and accounts are genuine or #scam and #bots on #mastodon .
To help real ones, I love to #donate, but I try to do that through known associations.
I find it really hard to spot the #scams , and even harder to block them (no specific instance, don't want to fully block hashtags, ...).
Admin Piaille (npub1w6y…p9cw) , what's your view on this? Are fake accounts blocked at registration?
Any general recommendations to filter the legitimate from the others?
