Pallas, have you ever seen how modern farming works? The poisons sprayed by the truckload on fields, the disruption of the soil structure, the millions of insects, birds, small vertabrates slaughtered by the tilling, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc? It may be easier to say killing a cow is bad, but what about the millions or billions of lives lost for that acre of corn or beans? Who really kills more for their food?

Commercial scale farming these days is destructive, so I hope you are only eating stuff from your garden or your neighbor's garden, with the sentiments you claim to feel... 😉
