Okay, Chris, sincere question: so how does one signal that they want/are open to be approached? I mean, gah! Situational and complicated to say the least!
At the moment, I'm having a piece of pizza at a sidewalk table in SF. If i see some cute woman, how do I signal that hey it would be cool to stop and chat with me? Virtually any answer will have some people thinking it's too passive while others would consider the same thing annoying or cringe.
