...I’ve been on Nostr for almost 3 years.
I’ve had a paid Premium account with Primal for almost 2 years.
I’ve tried out a dozen apps and clients.
I’ve (come to appreciate) the superior relay technology.
I’ve posted daily, in both English and German.
I’ve posted photo series, written replies, and added contacts.
Family, leisure, travel, politics, technology—I’ve explored many topics.
Posts, no matter how much effort goes into them, fade silently into the void of the internet.
150 followers, almost all of whom seem to be inactive or bots.
And yet, for me, Nostr remains the most boring social network!
It’s single-topic (Bitcoin/blockchain) and yet hollow and empty.
It’s a playground for the three dozen geeks who created it.
It has thousands of users who took a look once and never came back.
It’s superior technology that nobody wants.
I, too, have deleted my content. God willing, I’ll check back in 5 years to see if Nostr still exists.
