Treble Technologies, an acoustic simulation company based in Reykjavík, has raised $18 million in a Series A-2 round led by Paladin Capital Group. Existing investors KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures, and the European Innovation Council Fund also participated, bringing Treble’s total funding to €36 million. The company said it will use the financing to expand in the US market.
Treble provides cloud software that models how sound travels through rooms and other environments. Its platform combines acoustic simulation, digital twins, and synthetic-data generation, allowing teams to create labelled datasets and test difficult edge cases without extensive physical recording. Treble has worked with Amazon and Logitech, and is positioning the technology as a way for physical AI—including humanoid robots and autonomous vehicles—to combine hearing with vision and touch, improving performance and safety in noisy or unfamiliar settings.
