This one is my personal nightmare. I've been in a few situations where I've been required to sustain attention to check for a low-incidence error embedded in a body of work &—I can sustain it for four or five seconds before my attention drifts.
The •only• way I've ever managed that class of task is to come up with hacks that make the whole thing more interesting. If they want my straight attention, it's a pretty much automatic fail.
