Valet is a lightweight Bitcoin/Lightning beginner-friendly wallet designed with the IMMORTAN library. (actually forked from the old Simple Bitcoin wallet which no longer support Lightning)
Immortan is a mobile focused lightning network library stack. Valet hosts an actual self-custodial mobile Lightning node where users can open channels and manage liquidity.
The node is lightweight, hence, Bitcoin blockchain data and information is often fetched from external electrum servers integrated. Experience users may also connect their own electrum server as the case may be.
Less than 32mb in size, and Android focused, it is suitable for users navigating into Bitcoin for the first time.
Recovery is through seed phrase, and a backup file saved in users phone that must be used together with seed phrase to recover lightning channels.
Valet is available on F-Droid, and coming back soon to Google and Zapstore. Can also be installed directly from GitHub
