"content": "Yoloing a pleated skirt for myself with two lace-up side panels so it’s adjustable. I’m really vibing these days with “clothes I can wear for the rest of my life” and it turns out there’s a big intersection between that and clothing that is easily adjustable and also ?heritage? ?antique? Idk but I could wear this to a ren faire no problem. \n\nOne of the things I find fun about reading eg The Tudor Tailor is the extent to which many articles of clothing were just a bunch of rectangles sewn together. It’s very liberating. Except when I do the pleat math wrong about four different times and it’s all hieroglyphs as to which lines I’m actually supposed to follow. \n\n#sewing #handmade #slowfashion #clothing\nhttps://tootbos.files.fedi.monster/media_attachments/files/113/931/879/340/330/573/original/22ff021e3311d788.jpeg\nhttps://tootbos.files.fedi.monster/media_attachments/files/113/931/879/400/818/649/original/bdd28ea24eb407b2.jpeg\n",
