Yeah, I fully understand the trade-off that I'm taking. And I know there are hacky workarounds in graphene for root. Another one of the ones I was reading about is you kind of do what they do and put your own certificate in the firmware that allows you root access. But I want to experiment, and I don't want to have to fight it.

I'm not so sure why everyone gets their panties in a bunch about an Android device with root access.
