I like to think of these as different legs of the semantic triangle: energy, time, and memory (information).

Joules, blocks and bits.

Through the Bitcoin lens, the Second Law of Thermodynamics states that satoshis naturally tend to distribute across an increasing number of UTXOs (memory).

Entropy increases. Memory increases. Consolidation remains possible; a compression of active memory state count but an addition to total chain memory.

As entropy, or memory increases, the ability to impose a new state of constraint becomes distributed across an increasing number of possible active memory configurations. Active memory must contain sats. Constraint is paid for in satoshis (the conserved tokenized representation of energy within the system) and physical work (joules). Satoshis are exchanged for bits, and it is through this exchange that work, measured in joules, is conserved as proof (constraint).

Kelvin is the tokenized representation of joules physically. Entropy is the active state of Kelvin distributing across and increasing number of states of physical memory.
