Because (no offence) it leads people to be unable to follow basic logic when considering scenarios like the ones we actually face, so empirical information combining with abstract thoughts isn't possible anymore and they can't draw sensible conclusions. Magical thinking. I've had this experience with several psychedelics users. They come up with very weird ways of viewing the world that don't actually make sense at all. That, or they will fixate on certain bits of information and draw very odd conclusions from it (genetic diversity, race-mixing, whatever).

Again, it might not have happened in your own case, but this is my experience talking about nationalist ideas, or just basic moral concerns, with men who've used big doses of psychedelics. Maybe weed plays a factor too. IDK.
