I just want a secure device where I can download apps and do basic phone stuff like message and call people.
I’m going with Cape mobile and I know they do a good amount of security work for me which is why I’m switching.
I plan to get a pixel device and boot it w graphene. Then get Aurora store, setup my VPN (iVPN) and download all the apps I regularly use after.
Not sure if I’m missing anything before or after. I have a regular risk profile, more trying want to protect myself against sim swaps (Cape does this) and get away from big tech surveillance as much as I can without going to extremes.
