She just taught me something I wanted to share.

Look closely.

All kids are standing in a line.

They are waiting & listening.

Being told when & how to go.

If they are allowed to go.

My daughter was third in line.

It was not her turn.

She didn’t have permission yet.

She didn’t listen though.

She also didn’t wait.

And she didn’t ask anyone.

She just went.

Straight down the hill.

Didn’t know how to stop.

Her very first slide.

Afterwards they asked her…

“Why did you already go? It wasn’t your turn.”

Her answer..

“Why do I need to wait for you to tell me when to go? I was ready.”
