We all agree legally and ethically to protect minors from technology companies taking and using their data because they are unlikely to know how that data is being used and unable to legally consent.
We now arrive to an era when grown people don't know how their data is being used and they're being coerced to give their consent.
I don't understand why the legal protections aren't equally strict across the board. From a practical perspective, fuck datamongers.
