Why is there are variance in distance? And I've never flown between them, I don't know.
I do know all, ALL, flight simulators, manuals and documents all work and operate on a flat, non moving surface, and they are all very clear on that.
The physics of flying doesnt actually work if the surface is moving at various speeds up to 1000+mph counterclockwise, especially if you take off from Fairbanks, Alaska (441mph)and fly to Ecuador (1041mph).
